The Gatehouse Breaks Ground on Early Learning Childcare Academy

Jul 17, 2017 11:11AM ● By Audrey Sellers

The Gatehouse, a supportive living community for women and children in crisis, recently broke ground on an Early Learning Childcare Academy that will open on its Grapevine campus in fall 2018. The $4.5 million, 15,000-square-foot facility will be operated by Premier Academy and will include eight classrooms, a 4,550-square-foot gym, two playgrounds and a kitchen. The academy will serve approximately 150 Gatehouse children at discounted rates and 150 area children at fair-market rates.

Honorary guests Betsy Price, Fort Worth mayor, and William D. Tate, Grapevine mayor, were on hand for a special groundbreaking ceremony last week. Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed tours of The Gatehouse campus. For more information and updates, visit GatehouseGrapevine.com.
