The Community Enrichment Center, a nonprofit that provides housing and basic necessities to victims of domestic violence and assistance to homeless and low-income families, is planning its largest fundraising event of the year: the Love & Hope Gala on September 28 at The Bowden in Keller.
Presented by Dr. Neil Riordan, Stem Cell Institute and Riordan-McKenna Institute, the Love & Hope Gala features an evening with Jenna Bush Hager, best-selling author, correspondent on NBC’s “Today” show and editor-at-large for Southern Living magazine. FOX 4 “Good Day” news anchor Lauren Przybyl will serve as the mistress of ceremonies, and dinner will be catered by celebrity chef Tim Love.
Guests will also enjoy silent, live and board auctions, a raffle for a Tiffany & Co.® diamond key pendant, Kendra Scott Gives Back trunk show, jewelry pull and professional photos by Scott Peek.
Since 1988, Community Enrichment Center has been a life-changing resource for victims of family violence, homeless, and low-income families and individuals across Tarrant County. Today, the CEC works directly with these families and individuals to move them out of crisis and into stability through employment readiness, high school equivalency, financial coaching, counseling, safe housing, food and basic necessities. During the past 30 years, the CEC has helped thousands find a new path and a better life.
“These services not only provide short-term relief and refuge, but allow time to identify barriers to success and develop a coaching strategy to overcome those barriers and help ensure participants can maintain financial stability and not return to a point of crisis,” said CEC Executive Director Randy Clinton in a press release. “The purpose of the Love & Hope Gala is to help support and expand our services to people in need in Tarrant County.”
Tickets are $250 each or $400 per couple; table sponsorships (10 guests) are $2,500. Attire is black tie optional. For more information, contact Kristi Holt at 817.281.1164 or Kristi@TheCEC.org.
