Tiff’s Treats Opens in Southlake With Fun, Surprises and Cookies

You might want to consider staking a place in line on Saturday morning: Tiff’s Treats is opening in Southlake on September 23 with plenty of grand-opening fanfare from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Austin-based cookie-delivery company is hosting a double grand opening in Southlake and Lewisville to benefit Cook Children’s Health Foundation. At both locations, guests can get a box of one dozen cookies for $5 (limit six boxes per person), with proceeds supporting the hospital’s Creative Artist in Residence Programme.

As the aroma of fresh-from-the-oven cookies and brownies fills the air at the new stores, guests can enjoy festivities and chances to win prizes. In the “Southville Challenge,” participants who attend both Southlake and Lewisville events, hosted on the same day, will collect two wristbands that will get them a tote bag with a $25 gift card inside. When they post a photo on social media wearing both wristbands, they’ll be entered in a drawing to win the grand prize: a new iPad.

Tiff’s Treats has plenty of surprises cooked up, so get there early. The first 40 people in line (18 or older) at either location will win a $100 Tiff’s Treats gift card. All others in line by 9 a.m. will receive a $10 gift card. Guests who purchase a box of cookies at the grand opening can also enter in a drawing to win free Tiff’s Treats cookies for a year. Anyone who brings a new, unwrapped stuffed bear to the event to be donated to Cook Children’s PrayerBear program will also receive a $5 Tiff's Treats gift card.

“Cookies can bring such a smile to someone’s face,” said Leon Chen, co-founder of Tiff’s Treats, in a press release. “It is our honor to couple that with being able to help children and families in need. There is nothing more important to Tiff and me than the good health and happiness of our kids, and we wish the same for all of our friends and neighbors.”

Tiff’s Treats’ warm-cookie concept normally requires a 30-minute notice for pick-up orders or one hour for delivery, however, for the grand-opening fundraiser, no advance order is required, and customers can simply walk in to the new stores and purchase hot cookies. Guests must be in line by 1 p.m. to purchase cookies at this special price.
