The holiday season is in full swing with Christmas just a few weeks away, which means all kind of local happenings are popping up around town. If you are looking for a fun family-friendly activity to get your kids excited about this time of year, check out these fun weekend activities.

Enjoy Breakfast with Santa at Four Seasons

You heard it right. You can sit down with the big guy before he ventures out on Christmas Eve. Stop by the Four Seasons in Los Colinas to enjoy breakfast and holiday crafts. Take a Picture at Santa’s Village

To snag a picture with Santa, head to his local neighborhood hangout in Southlake Town Square. Children of all ages can come out and sit on Saint Nick’s lap. Ashley Nostalgia Photography will be on site to capture the holiday memory. They can also mail off their letter to Santa at the Village Post office. You may even get a letter in return. Take a Dreamy Carriage Ride

The Workhorse Ranch & Old Time Carriage Company will be offering carriage rides through Southlake Town Square. The rides, which start at 6:00 p.m. on Fridays, 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 4:00 p.m. on Sundays, are really a magical way to take in the area’s lights. You will feel at peace cozying up to your loved ones while taking the peaceful trip around the shopping center. Learn more or reserve your ride on their website.

Donate at DFW Toys for Tots Drive

It’s important to give back at this time of year, and there’s no time like the present. Stop by the DFW Toys for Tots Drive make a difference in someone else’s Christmas.
