Feb 08, 2018 01:10PM ● By Maleesa Johnson

Yesterday, friends and family packed into Carroll Senior High School to celebrate with 10 student-athletes as they signed their Letters of Intent on National Signing Day.

These 10 students will go on to play their sports at a collegiate level. By signing their National Letters of Intent, the seniors officially ended the recruiting process. Families set up festive tables with photos, cookies, balloons and more, all in the corresponding colors of their students' future university. Several other Dragons signed on for their colleges in the fall, so the list below does not represent all of the graduating seniors continuing in collegiate athletics.

National Signing Day signees included:

Stephen Blomstrom – Pomona College – Basketball
Darryl Crockett – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor – Football
Jacob Doddridge – Rice University – Football
Jackson Kimble – Baylor University – Football
Matthew Leehan – Colorado School of Mines – Football
Colton Phillips – Hendrix College – Football
DJ Springer – Trinity University – Golf
