Apr 24, 2018 12:32PM ● Published by Ashley Madonna

With everything from the 2018 NFL Draft to Art in the Square to the Renaissance Fair, there's plenty to do this weekend. Now all you have to do is decide how you will spend some quality time with your family.

NFL Draft Experience

Ready for some football? Get the best of the 2018 NFL Draft by heading over to the AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Thursday for the NFL Draft Experience. Come out to see some of the Dallas Cowboys’ most memorable memorabilia including the team’s five Super Bowl trophies. There will also be some former players out enjoying the festival, so you may be able to snag a few pictures with the pros.

Art in the Square

All weekend long, locals and art enthusiasts will gather for the 19th annual Art in the Square. From Friday to Sunday afternoon, families can come out to enjoy the juried work, enjoy treats from local restaurants, stop by the Kids Korner and play in The Zone. Be sure to stop by our booth to learn more about FÜDTRUKY and meet some of our cover boys and girls. No matter how you choose to spend your time in Southlake Town Square, it’s sure to be a blast.

CISD Student Art Exhibit

On Friday evening, locals can enjoy the CISD Student Art Exhibit. Guests will be able to browse through the best of the pieces created by local students. Their work will be exhibited in the lobby and the third floor of the Town Hall. It’s a great way to support emerging artists who are starting out in their artistic careers.

Traditional English Tea

Treat the little girl or boy in your life to a fancy day out by stopping by the Settlement to City Museums in Grapevine on Saturday. From 1 to 3 p.m., they will be hosting a traditional tea from local tea suppliers. After sipping on a few drinks and nibbling on some treats, guests are welcome to enjoy croquet and other lawn games. It’s sure to a lavish afternoon.

Deaf Awareness Day at the Royal Ale Festival

The Scarborough Renaissance Festival, running now until May 28, will be hosting their Royal Ale Festival this Saturday and Sunday. Bring out your friends, and enjoy tastings of assorted beer along with some festive entertainment. Your kids will love watching all of the actors in costume walk around the grounds, and you will love competing in the Stein Holding Competition. This Saturday, for Deaf Awareness Day, there will be special signed performances throughout the village to help everyone have a memorable experience.
