The Thrill of The Ride

May 10, 2018 09:41AM ● By Ashley Madonna

Get in your thrills by jumping on a few rides at the 34th annual Main Street Fest. From May 18 to 20, locals will head over to Grapevine to enjoy a weekend full of rides, food, drinks and a whole lot of fun. If you know your kids won’t be able to get enough of the rides, be sure to buy the unlimited carnival ride pass. It’ll get you on everything from the Ferris wheel to the spinning teacups. The pass is good for Friday, May 19 from 4 – 9 p.m. only, and it is available for $25 on their website until Thursday, May 17. Day of passes will be available for $30.

There will also be plenty of thrills for adults. This year, the festive weekend coincides with American Craft Beer Week, so they are expanding their drink selection into a truly buzz-worthy program. Guests over 21 can buy tickets to the Craft Brew Experience in the Craft Brew Garden, sponsored by Gaylord Texan Resort. Participants will be able to try eight three-ounce pours from 75 craft brews, just for $15 in advance of $18 at the festival.

Also new this year, guests will be able to get a taste of what Texas is all about at the Lone Star State of Mind Pavilion. There will be plenty of food, beer and wine samples from the state that will get your taste buds kicking.

The festival opens its doors at 10 a.m. on Friday and closes down at 6 p.m. on Sunday. So come out to enjoy the thrill of time spent with loved ones.
