11 Restaurants Perfect For Father's Day

No matter what you call him – pop, dad or your old man, it’s the time of year when loved ones gather together to celebrate the patriarchs of our families. This Father’s Day, give him a break from grilling for the whole gang by treating him to a lavish dinner out on the town. Be sure to make your reservation as early as possible. These culinary hotspots are sure to fill up quickly. 

Copeland’s of New Orleans

On June 17, Copeland’s of New Orleans will host their annual Father’s Day Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will have their choice from the restaurant’s expansive buffet including a breakfast bar, five entrée selections, five succulent sides, various salads, assorted desserts and three carving stations – fried Copeland’s turkey breast, barbecue-glazed Iberico pork loin and grass-fed beef prime rib. And your kiddos will love their chicken fingers, popcorn shrimp, mac&cheese and French fries. Adults can dine in for $39.95 a person, children ages 5-10 can dine in for $16.95 and kids under five can eat complimentarily.

Craft & Vine

Get a taste of Texas cuisine by stopping by Craft & Vine on Father's Day. They are hosting a special Prime Rib Dinner including a mixed green salad, 10 oz. roasted prime rib served with cracked black pepper, rosemary mashed potatoes, garlic broccoli florets, natural veal jus and horseradish créme for $30. If you are in looking for an earlier option, they will be serving Sunday brunch all day long. 

Del Frisco’s Grille

Treat your father to a fine steak by booking a reservation at Del Frisco’s Grille. All day, the Southlake Town Square location will be serving 16 oz. 46-day Dry Aged Strips. These special cuts come out tender and flavorful with notes of hazelnut and blue cheese. And they are only available on Father’s Day, so don’t miss your chance to cut open this beautiful piece of meat. 


If your family hasn’t dined in at the new pizzeria in town, Delucca, you have been missing out. So treat the pizza-loving man in your life by stopping in for a special dinner this Father’s Day. After enjoying some antipasto options and a few cocktails, diners can try out an unlimited amount of pizza slices. Topping combinations vary from Mexican Elote with Crema Fresca to Italian Nutella. Plus, your kids will love watching as the circulating pies make their way around the restaurant. 

Mi Dia From Scratch

If the man in your life is a tequila buff, head over to Mia Dia From Scratch in Grapevine on Sunday to enjoy top shelf tequila flights. Guests, 21+ of course, will have the choice of three premium tequilas for $30 or three ultra-premium tequilas for $50. Options include Clase Azul Reposado 20th Anniversary Edition, Dulce Vida Extra Anejo and Chef Gabriel DeLeon’s favorite, Don Julio Real. After sipping on these fine spirits, stick around to try out a few of their top-notch Mexican dishes. 

Kirby’s Southlake

For a hefty piece of prime meat, Kirby’s Steakhouse is pulling out the big guns – and we mean that literally with their special porterhouse offer. Guests can enjoy a 32 oz. dry-aged prime porterhouse with a baked potato and house salad all for $49.99, which is a steal for a three-course meal with a $130 value. Plus, every dad who comes in on Sunday will take home a tin of Kirby’s signature steak rub. That way they can attempt to recreate the magic next time they fire up the grill.

Reunion Tower

For dinner with a (360) view, reserve your spot at Reunion Tower. This fine dining establishment gives guests the opportunity to enjoy excellent eats while taking in the Dallas skyline. On Father’s Day, they will be hosting different interactive exhibits that will give your family the time to spend quality time with one another. Plus, each dad will receive a free digital photo and special koozie as a keepsake for the fun day. Adult ticket prices run for $17, youth ticket prices run for $8, senior ticket prices run for $14 and children under three can enjoy for free. 

Shannon Brewing Company

If your guy prioritizes a premium brew over a steak, then take the whole family out to Shannon Brewing Company for DadFest 2018. The Keller brewery will be throwing its third annual celebration to honor all the dads out there. Every ticket holder (of age) will get eight six-ounce pours of beer, including their rarer brews you won’t find at other locations. In addition to the libations, several food vendors like Hicks BBQ, Just Encased, Simply Done Cupcakes will be out dishing out their goods. Be sure to stick around for the Ugly Tie Contest at 1 p.m. and Dad Bod contest at 3 p.m. Your dad could take home a free mix six-pack of Shannon Beer and a T-shirt or hat of their choice.

Perry’s Steakhouse

Show your dad just how rare he is by treating him to a special Perry’s Steakhouse offer. On Sunday, Perry’s will open at 11 a.m. and serve up their Rare and Well Done menu alongside some tasty Bloody Marys, mimosas and brandy milk punch for $4.95 until 4 p.m. From 4 to 9 p.m., dads can take advantage of their three-course Sunday Supper special including Perry’s Famous Pork Chop, a choice salad and a dessert trio all for $34.95. 

Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill

For beer specials and quality cuisine, head over to Thirsty Lion in Las Colinas to enjoy half-off flights. Diners can select between a few different flight options depending on their preferences. And, the upscale American tavern will also be serving up specials from their summer seasonal menu like Spicy Shrimp Ceviche, Fresh Heirloom Tomato Caprese Salad and Pork Carnitas Salad Bowl. Everyone is sure to walk away happy. 

Winewood Grill

If the man in your family knows different vintages like the back of his hand, head over to Winewood Grill to try out one of their many premium bottles. Its chic environment and delicious dishes will make everyone in your family happy.  On top of their extravagant brunch, Winewood will offer a 24 oz. “Dad’s Cut” porterhouse steak for dinner guests on Father’s Day.
