And what better way to celebrate that than by enjoying a freshly muddled blackberry compote in an upbeat drink? Lucy’s Julep, available at Lucy’s Lot, offers a lighter take on a classic concoction. And it’s light lemon vodka makes it easy to drink. Whether you reconstruct the crisp creation at home or come out and catch a game at their bar, this berry blend is worthwhile.
Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka 1.5 oz.
Blackberry Liqueur 5 oz.
Lemon Wedges, 2
Splash of Club Soda
In a shaker, squeeze one lemon wedge, add four to five blackberries and muddle. Add in 1.5 oz. of Deep Eddy’s Lemon Vodka and 0.5 oz. of Blackberry Liqueur. Strain ingredients over ice into a cocktail glass. Top off with more fresh blackberries. Add a splash of club soda.
Garnish with a lemon wedge.
