Simon Bramley- Vice President, Flights – Travelocity

Simon Bramley

Simon says… “I could never just make widgets” and as the Vice President of Flights for Travelocity this 10 year industry veteran should never have to.  He goes on to say, “The great thing about the travel business is the variety – it is constantly changing and we work on a product that really matters to people.”

After stints in finance, sales and product marketing Simon is

currently responsible for all airline ticket sales on Travelocity.com and its affiliates.  This includes not only tickets sold on their own, but also those that are discounted and sold as part of their Flight+Hotel packages.

Born and raised in the United Kingdom, he and his wife Brook lived together in London for 5 years before deciding to move to the US to be closer to her family.  After a long search they decided to settle in Southlake and although it is completely different than London they have fallen in love with their new home of six years.

They look forward to bringing their children back there as soon as they can, especially now that they are old enough to really appreciate the history and culture that he and Brook have already experienced.

Simon has now lived in the states for 6 years and has picked up some American traditions like Football and College Basketball; however he still enjoys British Football, Rugby and Cricket which are his true passions.

Other than sports, Simon enjoys spending time in Southlake’s new Central Market.  He admits to being there far too often and knowing many of the staff by name.  His favorite event is Southlake’s Art in the Square.  He sees the event as a great opportunity to view some great art in a casual and fun atmosphere.
