John Elieson - Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Revenue Management – Travelocity

John Elieson

John has committed his entire 20 year career to the travel industry starting with American Airlines in 1988.  After stints in operations at DFW, as a trainer at the AmericanAirlinesLearningCenter and VP of Sabre’s Airline Solutions and then Travelocity’s Transportation Group, John established Sabre’s first revenue management department which currently spans all of Sabre’s online brands.

John’s responsibilities are well within the realm of the analytical process and include; corporate strategy, enterprise revenue management, pricing and web analytics.  He finds himself on the road about once a month visiting such places as England, France, India and his favorite Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

John has lived in the DFW area since the 1970’s and spent most of time commuting from neighboring suburbs.  When Sabre moved its headquarters to Southlake, he became more familiar with the city and when his wife Kristine came to meet him for lunch they immediately began exploring their housing options.  Six months later they moved into their current Southlake home and have loved it ever since.

Even after all of his business travels John still finds the energy to travel with Kristine and the kids.  In fact, in the last year they have visited New York, London, Belize and Rome while also finding time for a Disney Cruise and John’s personal favorite some skiing in Utah.

At home you’ll often see John and his family at Central Market enjoying live music and some food at the patio or with his son’s Boy Scout Troop #402 where he also acts as Scoutmaster.
