The Bar Method is the most targeted and results-oriented barre workout, founded in 2001 and Southlake will be studio #103. Rooted in physical therapy so each exercise is safe and extremely effective, Bar Method creates strength, flexibility and grace at the same time. Each exercise targets a specific muscle group, works it to exhaustion, then stretches those muscles to create a longer, more lean look. Bar Method teachers go through an intense 6-month training process covering aspects of human anatomy, physiology and the Bar Method technique. They are evaluated during this process and become certified after passing an anatomy test, a Bar Method manual exam and doing multiple videoed sections of class for a Bar Method corporate trainer to evaluate. In class, you will find that each student gets attention (and encouragement!) to his/her form no matter her fitness level.
