Bahá’ís of Southlake are preparing to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, on October 22. Plans underway include musical performances, a devotional gathering and refreshments. The program will commence at 2 p.m. at The Marq in Southlake. RSVPs are not required but requested at NorthTarrantBahais.com.

This bicentenary festival is a celebration of the transformative impact of Bahá’u’lláh’s teachings on the lives of families, neighborhoods and communities around the country and the world.

The event includes a series of activities generated at the grassroots level all around the country. Activities will include drama, music, art exhibits, storytelling, service projects, prayer and devotional programs.
