The Carroll Independent School District (CISD) is the heart of the community and maintains a 99% graduation rate while sending 95% of its students on to the college ranks. The district consists of 11 campuses serving more than 7,700 students with over 1,000 employees. The district is rated by the Texas Education Agency for the 2008-2009 school all of the district's 11 campuses have been rated "Exemplary."
