At FeedStore BBQ, you do not just taste Texas barbecue. You experience a family legacy that has been bringing Southlake together for more than two decades. Since 1974, the Lafavers family has called this town home, raising their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and building roots, believing that places matter when people care for them. That belief took on a new form in 2001 with the opening of FeedStore BBQ.

What began as a small-town grocery and feed store evolved into a gathering place where generations come together over hickory-smoked Hereford beef brisket, ribs and classic Texas barbecue. Still family-owned and family-run, FeedStore BBQ is guided by the same values that shaped the Lafavers family decades ago: show up, work hard and treat people like neighbors, not transactions.

Today, FeedStore BBQ is more than a restaurant. It is a community partner. From supporting local schools and sports to catering fundraisers and feeding first responders and families during big and small moments, the FeedStore remains deeply woven into the fabric of Southlake.
