Amid freezing temperatures and power outages, the city of Southlake has opened an emergency temporary warming center at the DPS North Training Facility.
“Residents whose power has been out for awhile can utilize this temporary emergency option to get a break from the cold,” the city’s website says.
The DPS North Training Facility is located at 100 E. Dove Road. COVID-19 protocols will be followed, and pets are not allowed. Residents are encouraged to bring snacks and water, and there will be limited access to charge phones.
