Halloween takes over Harvest Hall and Third Rail throughout October with Nightmare on Main Street, a month-long pop-up experience featuring over-the-top décor, themed cocktails and a lively entertainment lineup. The programming includes “Ghouling” Dueling Pianos, Dreams Unwind: A Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks Tribute and more, making this one spooky celebration that doesn't require a costume—but we won't judge if you wear one.

A little taste of Europe has landed in Grapevine. Bacchus Kitchen + Bar is among the first spots in the U.S. to debut the Sarti Spritz, an Italian-inspired aperitif combining Sarti, Prosecco and sparkling water. The vibrant pink cocktail has been popping up across Europe and makes for a colorful addition to an October happy hour, dinner or weekend outing.
3. Stretch Into Brunch at Vinyasa at Vin

5. Watch Sommeliers Battle It Out

Date: Oct. 30 | 6:30–9 p.m.

Texas Wine Month gets a competitive twist during Somm Smackdown, a five-course wine-pairing dinner that puts Master Sommeliers head-to-head. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception, wine and passed hors d'oeuvres before the competition starts at 7 p.m. Guests taste competing wine pairings throughout the five-course meal and vote on who advances. The eventual winner faces reigning champion Jack Mason, Master Sommelier, at Hotel Vin Grapevine for the Somm Smackdown title.
6. Take the Party to the Rooftop

When the sun goes down, head upstairs for Rioja After Dark, transforming Hotel Vin's rooftop into a late-night destination with live DJ sets, craft cocktails and panoramic views of Historic Grapevine.
