100 State St. | Southlake Town Square
Coffee lovers will soon have a new gathering spot in Southlake Town Square. Dallas-based Ascension Coffee is taking over the former Corner Bakery location, bringing its full espresso bar, single-origin slow bar, seasonal coffee flights and elevated all-day menu to town.
The Southlake café will mark Ascension's seventh location and just its second in Tarrant County. Known for its specialty coffee program and chef-driven menu, the concept has built a loyal following across North Texas and is expected to become a popular destination for everything from morning meetings to weekend brunches.

2200 W. Grapevine Mills Cir. | Grapevine Mills Mall
A unique family attraction is headed to Grapevine Mills, and it promises to be just as exciting for parents as it is for kids.
Dig World is a construction-themed adventure park where guests can operate full-size heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers and even a 40-foot boom lift. The Grapevine location will feature an exclusive Dude Perfect-themed zone with trick-shot challenges and Caterpillar-branded attractions.
Birthday party reservations are expected to open for July 2026, making this one of the area's most anticipated family entertainment additions.

2055 W. Southlake Blvd. | Next to Baskin-Robbins
The innovative food hall concept Wonder is preparing to make its DFW debut in Southlake.
The technology-driven dining platform allows guests to order from more than 20 restaurant concepts in a single transaction, bringing together menus from renowned chefs and brands including Bobby Flay and Marcus Samuelsson.
Construction is expected to wrap by mid-June, positioning Wonder for a summer opening. The concept offers a solution for groups with different cravings, allowing diners to mix and match cuisines without compromising on convenience.
Target opening date: Late September/Early October 2026
1131 E. Southlake Blvd. | Park Village
One of DFW's most popular restaurant brands is finally making its way to Southlake.
Hudson House will open in the former RA Sushi space at Park Village, bringing its East Coast-inspired atmosphere, oyster bar, signature cheeseburgers and famous martinis to the city.
Plans call for warm leather booths, a wraparound bar, outdoor patio seating and a full raw bar experience. Company representatives are targeting a late September or early October debut.
Target opening date: Second Half of 2026
415 Grand Ave. East | Southlake Town Square
Swiss athletic brand On is set to open its first Tarrant County location at Southlake Town Square.
The approximately 6,000-square-foot store will be located between Alo and Sunglass Hut and will showcase the company's popular performance footwear, apparel and accessories. Known for its proprietary CloudTec cushioning technology, On has become one of the fastest-growing names in the running and active lifestyle market.
The addition further strengthens Town Square's growing roster of premium athletic and lifestyle retailers.

213 Grand Ave. | Southlake Town Square
Fashion-forward shoppers will soon have another reason to visit Town Square.
Los Angeles-based Reformation is bringing its first Tarrant County boutique to Southlake. The sustainable fashion label is known for its vintage-inspired designs, environmentally conscious manufacturing practices and celebrity following that includes Taylor Swift, Kaia Gerber and Olivia Rodrigo.
Renovations are expected to begin this summer and take approximately three months, positioning the store for a fall debut.

Frisco
Just a 30-minute drive from Southlake, Universal's first-ever theme park designed specifically for young children officially opens July 1.
The 20-acre Universal Kids Resort features seven themed lands inspired by beloved franchises including Shrek, SpongeBob SquarePants, Jurassic World, Trolls, Puss in Boots and Minions. Guests can also stay at the property's themed hotel, with vacation packages already available.
Single-day tickets start at $54.99, while children ages 2 and younger receive free admission. The resort is expected to become one of North Texas' biggest family destinations when it opens this summer.
