Jamie Wooldridge (L) welcomes new BERKEYS President, Jeff Cox (R)
After serving as president for Berkeys Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical for seven years, Jamie Wooldridge is ready to retire and pass the torch along to a new president: Jeff Cox.
Jamie was hired as Berkeys' president in 2013 following a 28-year career in executive management, according to a press release. During his tenure, Jamie tripled Berkeys' business from 54 employees to 175 and moved the company into a 60,000 square-foot headquarters at Southlake. Alan O’Neill, Wrench Group South Central Regional CEO, says Jamie has been a tremendous asset to Berkeys.
“I knew that finding someone qualified to replace him would not be easy,” Alan says via press release. “Jamie earned the respect of his employees and it really showed in the organization's transformational growth."
Jamie’s replacement came in Jeff Cox, who managed over 275 employees at Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air and Electric for the last 10 years. Jeff says he’s grateful to the team at Baker Brothers for preparing him for the next chapter in his career.
“I'm humbled and honored that Alan and the Wrench Group selected me as the next Berkeys president,” Jeff says via press release. “I look forward to joining the team and working with leadership to continue in the tradition of success that Berkeys has enjoyed under Jamie's leadership.”
Jamie says Berkeys is in great hands with Jeff taking over as president.
“Besides his tremendous experience, his passion to serve others is a trait that will continue to build on the rich tradition of core values and reputation at Berkeys,” Jamie says via press release. "Berkeys is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory, and I know Jeff is more than qualified to lead them into that success."
