While many restaurants, gyms and businesses are forced to close their doors because of the COVID-19 outbreak, several other businesses are adapting their business initiatives to provide as much support to the Southlake community as possible. Here are a few businesses around town going above and beyond with new programs.

Those looking to indulge in retail therapy while at home can still experience in-store styling thanks to Apricot Lane. The Southlake boutique rolled out its FaceTime and virtual styling earlier this week. Locals can call the store, set up a 30-minute “shopping time” and one of Apricot Lane’s staff members will shop with you. Then customers can either ship their products or kick up their items with a drive-thru shopping experience.
To limit customer time spent at the Grapevine business, Blagg Tire & Service is offering pickup and delivery service. Blagg Tire & Service will also use seat covers, floor mats and steering wheel covers during service and will remove them after service is complete.
All of Chelsea Hall's services have been moved online. The academic learning center is now offering virtual sessions, including all test prep. Locals can take advantage of virtual classroom sessions with teachers, test review cram sessions and virtual test prep including everything from credit acceleration to the ACT and SAT.
Southlake's own Katie Parr will be offering free online musical education classes for families, parents and kids that they can access while at home. It's a great way to liven up another afternoon while hanging around the house.
Starting Wednesday, March 18, Kendra Scott will donate 50% of all of its proceeds from its Everlyne Bracelets to support Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund for local food banks providing food for children who rely on free school lunch programs.
If you have young athletes at home who are getting antsy staying in the house, Performance Course is here to help. The training program sent out a three-day template complete with links to videos of every movement.
After closing its doors, Sanara Yoga & Wellness proved it would still provide for not only its clients but also the community at large. Starting on Sunday, March 15, the yoga studio started broadcasting their classes via Facebook Live. Both members and nonmembers can find each day’s schedule on the Sanara Yoga & Wellness Facebook page and tune into their desired class.
The catering company announced via Facebook on March 24 that it would help those who have recently lost their jobs by supplying them with a hot meal. You can learn more about Scratch's efforts in this video.
The Southlake stretching studio is bringing its services to the public with StretchLab Go. People can log on and take part in their Facebook live sessions. A few of these sessions do require a foam roller, but people can also scroll through their page to find a class that fits each individual's needs.
With in-studio classes suspended, SunstoneFIT has transitioned its classes to its website and Facebook page. The boutique workout studio will stream its classes live, and anyone can hop online and workout alongside its instructors.
The Southlake pizzeria took time to speak to the importance of community on Facebook on Wednesday, and to show its dedication to locals, they started handing out free pizza. Locals could — and potentially still can if they haven’t run out of dough — swing by Taverna Rossa and receive a pie on the eatery.
For those who are looking for an electrical this week, TLC Electrical is offering safe service calls with minimum and no contact service calls available. These extra measures, which include service diagnosis and quotes over the phone or email as well as over-the-phone credit card payments, ensure that locals can still practice social distancing while working with this electrical company.
