Custom Ink
Custom Ink is coming to Southlake with the opening of a new showroom this spring. Founded in 1999 by three college classmates, Custom Ink allows shoppers to design, upload and customize their own apparel, with items ranging from shirts and jackets to hats, bags and drinkware. Director of store operations Amanda Hanlon says customers can meet one-on-one with a store advisor to turn their custom concepts into reality.
"Working with Custom Ink experts, they can brainstorm design ideas, pick artwork and fonts and compare different product styles," Amanda says. "They can even start a Custom Ink fundraising campaign to raise money and awareness for their favorite charity or personal cause."
Although Custom Ink is based in Virginia, Texas has been another home for the company since it opened its first production facility in Flower Mound in 2014. The retailer has since opened showrooms in Allen, Carrollton and Dallas.
Amanda says Southlake was a natural fit for Custom Ink given that its business is built around the community.
“Southlake has a fantastic range of community groups and organizations that would be interested in custom gear, from schools to churches, sports teams, volunteer organizations and small businesses," Amanda says. "As a convenient, family-friendly destination, the Park Village shopping center provides an ideal shopping environment for Custom Ink customers."
Brand names that will be available at the showroom include Under Armour, The North Face, Nike, Adidas, Champion and Comfort Colors. Select styles will also be available for in-store, same-day printing as well.
The Custom Ink showroom is set to open by spring 2020 at 1151 E. Southlake Blvd., Suite 320. To learn more about the custom apparel company, go online at CustomInk.com.
