After more than a century as a trusted name in outdoor apparel and gear, Eddie Bauer is closing its doors across North America — including its Southlake Town Square location.
Shoppers visiting 1402 Main Street will see signs advertising “Entire Store, 40-60% Off,” inviting them to browse before the doors close for good.
The company confirmed this week that it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, a move that will shutter all remaining stores unless a buyer steps in. Catalyst Brands, which acquired Eddie Bauer’s retail operations in January 2025, cited “declining sales and supply chain challenges” as key factors in the decision.
Eddie Bauer has already closed 49 locations and is now liquidating the remaining 175 stores, including Southlake, over the next 13 weeks.
Catalyst is exploring potential buyers, which could allow some locations to reopen under new ownership, preserving the brand’s century-long legacy in outdoor gear.
