The creative minds behind Fort Worth's La Pulga Spirits have been in the lab again.
Founded by three Cowtown entrepreneurs to provide 100 percent Weber Blue Agave tequila throughout the metroplex, the Mexican Spirits company has announced yet another set of limited-edition tequilas -- La Pulga 110 Blanco and La Pulga 110 Reposado.
“La Pulga 110 Blanco and La Pulga 110 Reposado are innovative high-proof tequilas that truly bring out the deep character and complexity of our high-quality agave,” said Dave Wiley, La Pulga vice president of marketing. “Very few high-proof tequilas are released at 55% abv, but that’s a testament to the quality of our core liquid. Even at this higher-than-average strength, La Pulga 110 still drinks with the signature smooth taste that bartenders and consumers have come to expect from La Pulga.”
The bottles of Blanco and Reposado are currently available for purchase online and will soon be expanding into additional major U.S. markets, per a press release sent out by La Pulga. Currently, a bottle of 110 Blanco costs $64.99 per 750 ml, and 110 Reposado is $74.99 per 750 ml.
Last summer, La Pulga stepped into the mezcal business, releasing La Pulga Mezcal.
