When Katie Lambert first walked through her home with her new husband, Nick, she was filled with regret and disbelief:
“I turned to Nick, tears in my eyes and said, ‘Nick… I’m so sorry — I think I’ve ruined our life before it’s even begun!’”
What began as a "tear-down nightmare," as Katie candidly puts it, has blossomed into a HGTV Designer of the Year finalist in the Most Dramatic Before & After category. And for good reason.
Established in 2015 with her sister Sarah, Southlake's Lambert Home is more than an interior design firm — it’s a full-service design and construction studio born of twin strengths. Sarah, NCIDQ-certified and design-focused, complemented Katie’s superb operational savvy — the sisters’ bond forms the core of their success.
Katie remembers living through the chaos, from makeshift kitchens to 18 months without doors. But that chaos became the crucible that shaped what their home—and their brand—could be.
“I’m really just proud of us! I love our home so much... It’s taught me how important a soft place to land is — a cozy, safe, loving home... it inspires me daily to continue to work hard and create beautiful and safe and loving homes for our clients!”
Now, the world can see that vision.
