Garages of America
The luxury garage trend continues to gain momentum around Southlake.
Just months after plans were announced for WorldClass Garages on Davis Boulevard in Southlake, another high-end garage community is coming to neighboring Colleyville.
Garages of America has announced plans to build its first Tarrant County development at the corner of John McCain Road and Colleyville Boulevard. The project will feature 47 individually owned luxury garage suites, seven flex office/warehouse spaces and retail storefronts — the first Garages of America community to incorporate shopping and dining into the development.
Located just minutes from Southlake Town Square and Timarron Country Club, the project is aimed at car collectors, hobbyists, entrepreneurs and anyone looking for a secure, customizable space that goes well beyond vehicle storage.
Think of it as a private clubhouse for your passions.
Owners will be able to transform the suites into everything from showrooms for exotic and classic cars to workshops, entertainment spaces, collector's galleries or personal retreats. Amenities include 24/7 gated access, optional climate-controlled units and community gathering spaces.
The Colleyville project will span four buildings totaling more than 92,000 square feet. Two buildings will house the luxury garage suites, while the remaining buildings will include flex office space and retail facing Colleyville Boulevard.
The announcement comes as luxury garage developments are becoming one of the area's newest real estate niches.
In Southlake, WorldClass Garages is developing a community at 890 Davis Blvd. that is expected to open in July 2026. That project will feature 36 customizable garage condos, a private owners clubhouse and plans for future commercial space.
Meanwhile, another Colleyville development from Enki Development was announced earlier this year with plans for 49 luxury garage units available for lease beginning in 2026.
Whether owners are housing a collection of Ferraris, restoring a vintage pickup, displaying sports memorabilia or simply creating the ultimate man cave, these projects reflect a growing demand for spaces that blend storage, security and lifestyle.
Founded in 2014, Garages of America has expanded across Texas with communities in Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, Roanoke and other markets. The Colleyville project marks the company's first development in Tarrant County. Construction timelines and pricing have not yet been announced.
