“Great service and great quality — all in the perfect location.” - Kailyn
Cleaning is in James Brown’s blood. Before he was even born, his great-grandmother worked at Buckingham Palace as part of the maid staff. He may not work in a castle himself, but James treats all of his customers like kings and queens at his personal business, Monarchy Cleaners.
Moving from London to Southlake 10 years ago, James quickly integrated himself into the community, starting several businesses and searching for ways he could contribute to the area. Noticing a longstanding dry cleaning business that had been a community staple for nearly 25 years, James gave the cleaners a fresh makeover and transformed it into the high-quality establishment it’s recognized as today.
As the owner and operator, James doesn’t just wash and treat your clothes — James takes time to talk to every customer and provide a customized experience tailored to them.
“James remembered my name, asked about my kids, knew how I liked my clothes pressed,” Mike Lantzy says. “It was the personal experience of it all. You don’t get that a lot these days.”
But James doesn’t shirk his responsibilities just because of socializing — he keeps to his schedule and ensures that every customer gets their clothes fresh-pressed and sparkling clean.
“James makes it so easy for me to be able to drop in before 8 a.m. and get my clothes back by 5 p.m. the same day,” Chris Greer says. “Monarchy Cleaners is a game changer for me.”
Whether he’s cleaning shirts, pants, suits or any other kind of fabric, James gives a warm welcome to every customer and treats them like royalty. With his daughter being a future Dragon, James also offers promotions to parents of the Dragon football team to help them continue their winning start to the season! Anyone who stops in will see firsthand that Monarchy Cleaners is exclusively for everyone who likes clean clothes.
