After three years of business, Snap Kitchen is closing for good this weekend.
A local staple since 2017, Snap Kitchen prepares and delivers healthy, handmade meals to its customers specific to their meal plans. It has over 60 locations available across Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana, but this weekend, it will be closing 14 of its locations in Texas, including Southlake.
"The coronavirus pandemic — and the ensuing economic recession that resulted from it — has ravaged the restaurant industry, with 61% of restaurants across the country shutting their doors for good,” CEO Anthony Smith says in a media release. “Unfortunately, Snap Kitchen was not immune to the effects of the pandemic. In order to survive as a company, we’ve had to make the incredibly tough decision to shutter the majority of our stores and say goodbye to many of our dedicated employees.”
Meals for all 14 kitchens will continue as scheduled until their final day on Friday, November 6. Orders scheduled after closing will be canceled and refunded.
Southlake’s Snap Kitchen is located at 2175 E. Southlake Blvd., Suite 130. To learn more, call 512.687.1731 or visit SnapKitchen.com.
