If you’re a small business looking for assistance during the pandemic, Tarrant County is here to help. The county is opening up its second round of Small Business Assistance Grants using money it received from the CARES Act, according to a press release.
Small businesses have through November 10 at 6 p.m. to apply for an assistance grant. Tarrant County will use financial information, program eligibility and funding availability to award grants to small businesses, with the maximum grant award capped at $10,000, according to a press release.
In its first round of award grants, the county gave $17.6 million in assistance to over 2,000 businesses. Businesses who received a grant in the first round of funding are ineligible to apply during the second round of funding, according to a press release.
Funds from the second round of funding will be dispersed by December 30. For more information about the Small Business Assistance Grants, visit Tarrant County’s small business website.
