The Container Store in Southlake Town Square hosted an Open House event open on June 26, signaling a new direction for the popular organization store that filed for bankruptcy in January.
The store has remained open since its Chapter 11 announcement.
At the Open House, the first 100 customers starting at 6 p.m. received a free tote bag and a $25 gift card to be used in store. Merchandise was also 25 percent off between 6 and 8 p.m.
"The Container Store is here to stay," said Satish Malhotra, The Container Store Chief Executive Officer and President, in January. "Our strategy is sound, and we believe the steps we are taking today will allow us to continue to advance our business, deepen customer relationships, expand our reach, and strengthen our capabilities. We intend to maintain our strong workforce and remain committed to delivering an exceptional experience for our customers while we execute this recapitalization and for many years to come."
