When Crush It opened in Grapevine more than six years ago, the vision was to create a premier indoor golf lounge where players could practice, compete, enjoy the game year-round, and catch their favorite sports on TV. While golf remains at the heart of the business, it was ultimately the guests that shaped what Crush It would become.
Over time, it became clear people wanted more. They wanted a destination where they could socialize, celebrate birthdays, host corporate team-building events, enjoy date nights, gather with family, and create lasting memories. That evolution has transformed Crush It into one of DFW's most unique interactive entertainment destinations.
From the beginning, founder Mike Speets knew that long-term success would depend on constant innovation. That mindset fueled Crush It's $2 million expansion in 2024, ushering in what the team calls "Crush It 2.0." Today, Crush It offers an experience that extends far beyond golf. Guests can enjoy state-of-the-art golf and sports simulators, duckpin bowling, interactive darts, a pickleball simulator, and a growing lineup of interactive games and experiences.
Scratch-made shareable cuisine and fresh, handcrafted cocktails have become an important part of the Crush It experience, complemented by limited-time seasonal menus throughout the year. Recent additions include a fall espresso martini flight, a maple bacon old-fashioned, and a party-sized charcuterie board designed for groups to share.
"While I'm incredibly proud of what we've built, the credit belongs to my remarkable managers and team members," Mike says. "Their positive energy, attention to detail, and genuine care for our guests are what transform first-time visitors into loyal regulars. Genuine hospitality is evident in every event. That's the heart of Crush It's culture."
From corporate gatherings to family celebrations, the team's approach and attention to detail keep guests coming back. One couple first came to Crush It to celebrate their baby shower. They later returned with their newborn for a family outing and, as their family grew, came back once again to celebrate their child’s birthday. Stories like theirs represent what Crush It has become: not simply an entertainment venue, but a place that becomes part of the milestones in its guests’ lives.
And Crush It isn’t finished yet. With plans for an upgraded bar, dining, and gaming space, the next chapter will continue to build on what guests have helped create. While the experiences and food and drink options may expand, the mission remains the same: deliver exceptional experiences and create a destination the community is proud to call its own.
"Crush It is no longer just about golf. It's about creating a place where people eat, drink, celebrate, and make lasting memories together.” -– Mike Speets, Founder
