For residents of Trophy Club and the surrounding area, The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque has quickly become synonymous with elite Texas pitmastery. Now, the brand that has become a staple for local foodies is bringing its signature slow-smoked flavors further south.
The Hutchins family has officially announced that their second location will hold its grand opening in Arlington on March 1 at 1600 E. Copeland Road near the stadiums. To ensure the transition is seamless, the expansion is being overseen by General Manager Israel Silva, a familiar face to many who helped successfully launch the brand’s flagship restaurant in Trophy Club.
The Arlington site is designed to mirror the casual, family-friendly atmosphere that has made the original location a go-to spot for pre-game meals and weekend gatherings.
Fans of the nearby location will find all their favorites on the new menu, including:
Signature Meats: Classic brisket, tender pork ribs, and massive beef ribs.
Specialty Items: The famous “Texas Twinkie”—a jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and brisket, then wrapped in bacon.
Traditional Sides: Hearty helpings of macaroni and cheese, pinto beans, and elote.
Whether you're heading to a game at Globe Life Field or just looking for that familiar Trophy Club quality closer to I-30, the March 13 ribbon-cutting marks a major milestone for one of North Texas’ fastest-growing BBQ legacies.
