Southlake is getting a new guitar shop to rock out to this summer.
Founded in 2015 by two local musicians, Tone Shop Guitars is an Addison-based music store that provides a wide selection of instruments, most notably a variety of guitars from brands such as Gibson, Yamaha and Paul Reed Smith. Now it's looking to expand, with a new location opening at 3220 W. Southlake Blvd. later this year.
“At Tone Shop, it’s all about the experience,” Southlake managing partner Jay Tynes says. “You can expect a wide selection of first-class instruments, friendly and knowledgeable staff in an atmosphere that’s welcoming for players at all levels.”
In addition to its instrument offerings, Jay says Tone Shop Guitars also offers repair and maintenance services such as re-stringing and set-ups. The Southlake store will also buy, sell and trade used instruments.
Jay says he looks forward to welcoming customers old and new at their upcoming store.
“We are thrilled about the Southlake location because we feel it’s a prime location for what we offer,” Jay says. “It’s an area that is underserved for quality musical instrument sales. We are very excited about meeting and serving the needs of new players who haven’t yet had the Tone Shop Guitars experience.”
