For many Southlake professionals, working from home has its limits, and traditional office leases feel like too much. Enter Intelligent Office, part of the Vast Coworking brand, which will open its newest location in Southlake in late January, offering a turnkey workspace solution for entrepreneurs, executives, and growing teams who want professional polish without long-term rigidity.
Owned by longtime Southlake residents Jean Xue and Chuck Lo, the new flex space is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of today’s mobile and hybrid workforce. According to Intelligent Office, the location will feature 17 private offices, a day office, an event space and dedicated desks, along with high-speed Wi-Fi, executive phone services, virtual mailboxes, conference room access and full copying and printing services. A café-style area, free coffee and complimentary amenities add to the welcoming, hospitality-driven feel.
The new space will be located in the strip center along the couple's other ventures at 2801 E. Southlake Blvd., the space at the former Southlake Tutoring academy has ample parking and two popular restaurants PokeWorks and Chickonut just steps away — amplifying the convenience for flexible workers.
Beyond desks and doors, Xue and Lo are focused on building a community. Plans include business coaching seminars and member events designed to foster collaboration, skill-building and connection among professionals from a variety of industries.
“We’re excited to join the Intelligent Office brand, which has been ahead of the curve for many years when it comes to modern business strategies,” Xue says via press release. “We know firsthand the challenges small business owners face — especially the lack of affordable private offices, conference rooms and professional support services. Intelligent Office is truly the smart answer.”
Partners in business and in life, Xue and Lo have called Southlake home for 20 years and bring deep local roots to the project. Both are actively involved in the community through the Southlake Chamber of Commerce and they support local charities like GRACE and Special Olympics.
“One office building can host professionals from many industries,” Lo notes. “It creates a collaborative environment where people can share space, skills, and knowledge while still working independently.”
