Southlake Town Square. Springtime in Southlake. It'sbra beauty on its own, but pair it with artistic creations and it's simplybrbreathtaking. Lucky for us, this stunning backdrop has become an annualbrtradition since it was first brought to life as a community fundraiser by thebrSouthlake Women's Club in 2000. Today, the fine arts festival has grown notbronly locally, but nationally, recognized as one of the top fine arts festivalsbrin the country. And it's easy to see why. The two-and-a-half-day eventbrcontinues to build momentum even 16 years after its inception, as its volunteerbrcreators work hard to promote cultural experiences in our community and raisebrmoney to support local charities. Here you'll find emerging and professionalbrartists mingling with young artists just learning to hone their craft. It's a truebrcelebration of what it means to be an artist.
Art in the Square is the perfect opportunity tobrintroduce your children (or yourself) to a new way to think about the world.brDiscover artwork from 150 artists exhibiting 2D, 3D, sculpture, photography andbrmore. Sample cuisine and beverages of all kinds, with delectable optionsbrincluding a bellini and margarita tent, and plenty of food trucks. Get yourbrfill, then find a seat or a patch of grass and enjoy entertainment on twobrstages, with a variety of musical genres represented from jazz and blues to popbrand rock, and even reggae. Who knows, you might even leave with a new favoritebrart form that you never truly appreciated … until you realized you couldn'tbrlive without it.
