The Bob Jones Nature Center is going virtual this summer. Thanks to its partnership between the Tarrant Regional Water District and local master gardeners, the Bob Jones Nature Center and Preserve announced that all of its summer classes will have a virtual component so attendants can tune in remotely this summer.
Starting in June, the first class for the nature center’s summer education series will be about tough Texas plants. According to MySouthlakeNews.com, this three-part series will teach participants about Texas trees, bushes and vines and how to maintain them. Then in July, the nature center will teach classes on how to care for cacti and succulents. Finally in August, the summer series will conclude by educating which plants grow best in the shade.
According to MySouthlakeNews.com, attendants can tune in online through the nature center’s website, with registration for June’s classes currently open. Register or learn more at ExperienceSouthlakeTexas.com.
