When does Feedstore BBQ taste even better? When it benefits Dragon Football. On August 19 at 6 p.m.,brthe community is invited to Dragons Rally, a pep rally and fundraiserbrbenefitting Dragon Football. Come meet the 2016 Dragon Football team, eat some Feedstore BBQ and greet your neighbors!
The eveningbrincludes music and dancing, a live auction, bounce houses, Mr. Softee, andbractivities and giveaways from the Emerald Belles and Dragon Cheerleaders. Andbrdon't forget to get a poster or football autographed by a Dragon footballbrplayer. Dragon Cheer will also be selling "Dragons are Coming!" T-shirts to raise funds for competition and coaching fees.
"We are so excited to have Mike Lafavers and Feedstore BBQ team up with us for this year's Community Pep Rally," says Leigh Davis, who is helping organize the event. "Kicking off the 2016 football season with a 'Meet, Eat and Greet' community event and being able to mix and mingle picnic-style should be a fun time for all.
"All of our football teams will have competed in their scrimmages that morning, and it will be a good opportunity to rally behind them and to show your support for our Dragon Nation as the school season starts," she adds. "We are all Dragons and we love to Protect the Tradition!"
