You don’t have to worry about dressing up and going to exquisite venues to watch the symphony or the orchestra. Instead, live classical music comes to you thanks to the Concert Truck.
In collaboration with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Apex Arts League invites the Tarrant County community to experience a free production from classical musicians Nick Luby and Susan Zhang in Southlake’s North Park at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29.
Established in 2016, the Concert Truck redefines accessibility to the arts by mobilizing a fully-functioning concert hall for communities to enjoy nationwide. Complete with lights, a sound system and a piano, the 16-foot box truck is capable of providing 30-to-45-minute performances. Southlake will be the first Tarrant County destination for the portable music machine, arriving at 200 E. Dove Road to engage local residents in an afternoon of symphonic delight.
