Cinnaholic Gourmet Cinnamon Rolls opened its doorsbrthis past weekend in Southlake. The only custom gourmet cinnamon roll bakery inbrthe world, Cinnaholic is not your typical cinnamon roll shop. In addition tobrbeing 100 percent vegan, all of its products are also dairy- and lactose-free,bregg-free and cholesterol-free.
But that's not the best part. Cinnaholic lets thebrcustomer create his or her own masterpiece cinnamon roll. With over 30 frostingbrflavors to choose from and the chance to add as many toppings as you'd like, brthe possibilities are endless. Banana Nut. Rocky Road. Key Lime Pie. Oh. My.
Cinnaholic started in 2010 by Shannon and Florian Radkebrin Berkeley, California but it wasn't until they pitched their vegan gourmetbrcinnamon roll shop to the sharks on ABC's “Shark Tank” that their business tookbroff.
Since airing on “Shark Tank,” Cinnaholic has soldbrtwo-dozen franchises. Long time Southlake resident, Lynn Matarelli, is now onebrof those franchise owners.
“I am beyond thrilled to be working with Lynn onbrbringing our ooey gooey cinnamon rolls to the Southlake community,” saidbrShannon Radke, in a press release. “We both believe that Southlake is thebrperfect city to be welcoming the first Cinnaholic in Texas.”
In addition to its award-winning gourmet cinnamonbrrolls, its Southlake location offers a full coffee menu from Ft. Worth-basedbrAvoca Coffee Roasters.
