The 38th annual GrapeFest saw 13 winners for the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic — and three of them are from Grapevine.
During the four-day wine festival last weekend, thousands of people gathered in the Cotton Belt Railroad District to sample and rate 34 different wineries. Messina Hof won three gold awards for their light red and white blends, while Bull Lion Ranch won two gold awards for their Texianti “Texas Chianti” and Malbec. Silver Dollar Winery also won two gold awards for their Boot Scootin’ Boogie Chocolate and IM’Peached wines. Silver and bronze medals also went to Landon Winery, Whiskey Road Winery, Sweet Taste of Paradise, The Pour Girl, Llano Estacado, H-Wines, Arche, Blue Ostrich, Housewife Rebellion and Tara Vineyard.
With the 2024 festival wrapped up, wine lovers now have the 39th annual GrapeFest to look forward to Sept. 11-14 next year. To stay up to date on the 2025 festival, visit GrapevineTexasUSA.com.
