The official Christmas Capital of Texas is getting national recognition after it topped a recent Newsweek Readers' Choice survey of the "Best Christmas Towns" in the United States.
Each year, Grapevine welcomes thousands upon thousands of visitors during the holiday season as it transforms into a winter wonderland, with over 1,400 events spread across 40 fun-filled days. With cornerstone events like Santa's North Pole Express and the Christmas Wine Trains aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, as well as an Instagram-worthy, life-sized Christmas Village, an outdoor ice rink, classic Christmas movie showings and the Nash Farms Farmstead Celebration, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Top 10 Christmas towns were selected by featured panelists and contributors and voted on by readers as the best of the best. Two Texas towns made the final list, with Grapevine at No. 1 and Fredericksburg coming in at No. 4.
