Mayor Laura Hill released a proclamation on Friday, as featured on MySouthlakeNews.com. The proclamation served as an announcement that Feb. 8 - 12 would be Southlake Employee Appreciation Week. It reads:
Whereas the City of Southlake is committed to providing Southlake taxpayers with high-quality, high-value public services; and the City of Southlake considers its' employees to be one of our greatest resources; and,
Whereas, Southlake employees demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to provide superior customer service by offering their time and talents to make a difference in the lives of the citizens of our community; and,
Whereas, Southlake employees take pride in adherence to the City's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, Commitment to Excellence and Teamwork; and,
Whereas, the professional and personal commitment of the employees contributes to the growth, safety and stability of Southlake; now,
Therefore, I, Mayor Laura Hill, on behalf of the City Council, do hereby proclaim the week of February 8 – 12, 2016, as City of Southlake, Employee Appreciation Week.
