Making his way up the fame ladder as an assistant for BobbrKnight at the United States Military at West Point and Indiana University, Davebrthen worked to become the head coach at many top tier universities such as thebrUniversity of Oklahoma, Southern Methodist University, the University of NewbrMexico, and Baylor University. At Baylor, Bliss stumbled and admitted tobrseveral NCAA violations, leading to his resignation in 2003.
His rise, fall and ultimate comeback is a story of redemptionbrthat we can all learn from. As he mentions in his book, Fall to Grace, “I don’t think for a minute any of you would dobrsomething as foolish as what I did, but you need to understand something: Ibrdidn’t think I would, either.”
