Economic development continues throughout Southlake, as two new hotel projects are underway. Southlake’s City Council has approved the almost 7-acre Westin project as of early June, according to a report by the Dallas Morning News. In addition, a 121-room boutique hotel is planned at the Carillon development at State Highway 114 and White Chapel Boulevard.
"The five-story Indigo hotel will be built in a French provincial style, according to plans filed with Southlake’s City Plan Commission," the Dallas Morning News reported. The hotel is being developed by Summit 11 Investment Group, based out of Hines/Irving.
Additionally, two office buildings are planned in the Carillon park.
The Westin will be a six-story, 253-room hotel with a conference center, fitness center and retail. It is set to sit at 1200 E. State Highway 114.
