October is a time for eating Halloween candy,brjumping in massive leaf piles and enjoying the fall weather before Novemberbrhits. And let's not forget: October isn't October without Southlake Oktoberfest.
This October marks the 15thbranniversary of the celebration, and the Southlake Chamber of Commerce promises it'llbrbe an event to remember. Admission to the festival is free – the only moneybryou'll be dishing out will be for the lip-smacking food, refreshing beveragesbrand souvenir booth items.
This year, expect tasty grub and live music,bras well as a fun-filled children's area to keep your busybody kids entertainedbrall night. Take a stroll in Town Square as you browse the wide variety ofbrhandcrafted art and crafts.
The best part of Oktoberfest: the wiener dogbrrace. Watch as the cutest dogs compete for first place in their hilariouslybradorable costumes. You won't want to miss it!
With over 100,000 people visiting throughoutbrthe weekend festival, you can expect nonstop holiday festivities that willbrcreate memories that will last a lifetime.
Free parking and a shuttle service will bebravailable at White's Chapel United Methodist Church over the weekend. Shuttlesbrwill run continuously to and from Southlake Town Square.
