Even the pandemic can’t stop Christmas. While it may look slightly different this year, Santa’s Village will come to Southlake Town Square as part of Home for the Holidays.
From November 22 to December 24, kids will be able to see Santa during a contactless visit in the outdoor pavilion of Rustin Park, according to a press release. Carriage rides and holiday shopping are also part of the Home for the Holidays offerings this year.
“We’re pleased to offer the picture-perfect place to enjoy the magic of the holiday season in our outdoor setting,” Liz Barth, director of marketing for Southlake Town Square, says via press release. “This year, more than ever, our guests are interested in those time-honored traditions that allow them to enjoy each other and make memories together. Whether it’s visiting Santa, taking a carriage ride or shopping for all their loved ones, Southlake Town Square is ready to be everyone’s home for the holidays.”
Kids will be able to visit Santa in a socially distant way, with his elves cleaning between each visit and wearing masks. Santa’s sleigh and suit will also be cleaned between each photo shoot and clear dividers will be up to help promote social distancing.
“We are excited to keep the holidays merry and bright,” Barth says via press release. “While this experience may be a little different this year, it will be joyful and memorable.”
