If you live in North Texas, chances are you live in one of the hardest-working cities because six North Texas cities made it onto Wallethub’s list of Hardest Working Cities.
Irving is on top at No. 5 while three other cities were included in the top 20 — Plano at No. 10, Dallas at No. 13 and Fort Worth at No. 17.
Wallethub compared 116 of the most populated cities using two dimensions — Direct Work Factors and Indirect Work Factors. Direct Work Factors included things like average workweek hours and employment rate while Indirect Work Factors included average commute time and share of workers with multiple jobs.
Arlington and Garland also made the list at No. 21 and No. 26, respectively, while Anchorage, Alaska and San Francisco, California claimed the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
