
Winter Storm Uri put a lot on hold, but it didn’t stop the city from celebrating its staff. Southlake honored dozens of city employees during Employee Appreciation Week.
Along with the general celebrations, awards were given out to several city staff members and employees were also recognized for their tenure working for the city, according to MySouthlakeNews.com.
The employees who were recognized for the Director's Award include Alex Stroud, Public Works; Anthony Dudley, Finance and Information and Technology Departments; Bryan Thomas, Fire Department; Dylan Welch, Human Resources; Cpl. Joshua Ellis, Police Department; Julia Lyon, Planning and Development Services; and Ryan McGrail, The Marq Southlake.
The employees recognized for the Southlake Values Award includes Crystal Maddalena, The Marq Southlake; Kevin Ferrer, Public Works Department; Michelle DeVoss, City Secretary's Office; and Roderick Page, Police Department and the Property Notification Process Team.
Dianne Low in the Parks Department and Nic Miles in the Fire Department were also recognized for the Kristin Pitzinger Customer Service Award. In addition, all city employees were recognized for the Spirit of Southlake award, according to MySouthlakeNews.com.
