Southlake was named the safest city in Texas, according to an analysis conducted by MoneyGeek.
To get its findings, MoneyGeek analyzed crime statistics by “quantifying the cost of crime and ranking small cities and towns nationwide and in every state,” according to its website. With a population of 31,265, Southlake's cost of crime was estimated to be $89, according to MoneyGeek. Nationally, Southlake was rated the 30th safest city out of 953.
