As kids embark on their first week of teacher-based instruction, Southlake Police and Fire are reminding kids to take a recess outdoors today — as long as they are six feet away from other walkers.
Southlake DPS posted a neighborhood scavenger hunt on its Facebook page, ideal for junior detectives who are eager to get outdoors. The post lists out things kids can look for while walking around including a “for sale” sign, a yellow car, a basketball goal, a dog and a car that’s blocking a fire hydrant. While some of those items sound more entertaining than others, the post is a great tool for parents and kids alike who are looking for some structured entertainment while staying at home.
