Southlake was recently named the best suburb for city-like living in the nation by StorageCafe.
Starting off with a list of around 1,000 suburbs, StorageCafe narrowed down the field by evaluating factors like household income, public schools ranking and local employment opportunities. According to the list, Southlake placed first in both Texas and the nation, while Colleyville placed 23rd on the list. Other DFW cities that made the list include Rockwall at No. 58, Prosper at No. 63, Murphy at No. 70 and Flower Mound at No. 74.
“Living here means you get the best of both worlds — the space, safe streets and good schools traditionally associated with suburban living, plus an excellent mix of lifestyle-oriented amenities,” StorageCafe notes about Southlake. “The community is rich in shopping and dining options that cater to all tastes and budgets.”
